The staff was friendly. I love the margarita flights. They have so many different options and the glass size is NOT small. Good prices as well.

So good!!! Service is excellent! Atmosphere very nice!! Food awesome! We had a Burrito Fajita with Steak and the Colorado Burrito with Grilled Chicken, both excellent! Meat was flavorful and tender! Easy to park here, and clean restaurant. We love it!

Stopped here for dinner on a work trip. I ordered the lobster tacos with Mexican rice, it was fantastic!! I also had a lime margarita, which was okay (I'm very picky with my margs). There was too much mix in the drink. My boss got Camaron Acapulco, she loved it!! The bacon was crispy even though it was covered in cheese sauce. She also got the sangria margarita, which she enjoyed and recommends if you like drinks on the sweet side. Service was very slow as the bar staff was also waiting tables in the main dining area. So if you are in any kind of hurry, plan accordingly.

My daughter and I stopped in here on a humbug after being in the area for another event. And wow - were we pleasantly surprised! (It also happened to be National Margarita Day). We were first served warm homemade tortilla chips and salsa. We ordered the 4-margarita flight from the extensive drinks menu. We also ordered shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is lovely and the service was friendly and efficient. Even thought it isn't close to where we live, we said we will definitely go back!

Agavero has an extensive menu with vegetarian and vegan options. We were seated right away and our server was attentive without being overbearing. I enjoyed that the booths have very high backs so your conversation with your dinner partner feels more private. The music was a little loud for our tastes but that might have been because we seemed to be seated right underneath the speaker. I ordered the shrimp nachos fajita which were very tasty. My only gripes were the chunks of tomato, bell pepper, and onions were cut so large it was difficult to balance them on the nacho chips. Also, it seemed at first I did not get any cheese only sour cream but after eating through some of the dish it seemed all of the cheese ended up on one end of the long plate and I had started on the "wrong" end. It was still a tasty and satisfying dish. My husband had the avocado tacos with black beans and was happy with them. He also ordered the street corn and was also happy with it, although he thought it was a little too spicy for his taste. Price was about what you would expect for a sit-down Mexican restaurant in this area.

Agavero didn't disappoint. Good service, good presentation, and good food. They got the little things right, like water glasses instead of plastic. Cloth napkins would be better than paper but other than that, the presentation was solid. Salsa was excellent, chips were good but nothing special. I tried 3 kinds of street tacos. Asada, chicken, and chorizo. All were really good but would have preferred double tortillas like street tacos I've had in LA and Mexico. Birria tacos were also very good. The classic margarita was also tasty. A little sweet and the wrong style glass but a versatile good margarita overall. We liked Agavero and we will go back. Seems like a good place to bring a family or large group.

Absolutely love this place. Been here 20 times. Food's always really good and comes out fast. Good wait staff; super friendly and efficient. And prices are reasonable. Finally got the loaded barria fries, and they were CRAZY good. Check that out for sure.

We stopped by here to eat after 4.5 hours of Zumba in St Louis area. Hungry hungry hippos. The friend that brought us said that this was his favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Agavero Grill & Cantina opened in December 2021 in Collinsville, IL area. That particular day the group went to eat in February 2024, they also had a new menu (which included Birria Ramen)!! I surprised the waiter when I ordered it. LOL. I also ordered a cocktail to go with my meal. Our party size was 9. Service was attentive. Ambiance was casual sit down. ENJOY!!
